Ok, I saw "Walk the Line" this weekend on DVD so I figured I should do a Johnny Cash tribute. Here is a 3-track version of "Ring of Fire". Interesting part in this is the "guitar thumping"... or the "poor-man's drum" which I think fits the essence of Johnny Cash pretty well. I saw a youtube video of him where he said that he used paper in the strings of his guitar to sound like a snare drum (when he did not have a drummer). Necessity is the mother of invention... Very Cool!
